365 Days of Thankfulness
Day 303
Thank you God for the Holy Spirit. Your message encouraged me to actively seek out a life worthy of Your calling. To actively pray. To actively love. To actively seek peace. To actively believe. Oh, how I need You.
Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.
(Romans 16:25-27 ESV)

spiritualinspiration:

“Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23 AMP).
When something is toxic, it’s poisonous; it can destroy you. When we go around dwelling on the wrong thoughts, thinking about what we can’t do or how we’ll never get ahead, those thoughts are toxic thoughts. Toxic thoughts left alone become like toxic waste that sinks into your heart. It will eventually contaminate your whole life. It affects your self-image. It affects your attitude, your level of confidence, and ultimately, your success. That’s why the scripture says to guard your heart because the condition of your heart and mind determine the condition of your whole life.
Make the decision today to detox any negative, self-defeating thoughts by meditating on God’s promises instead. Make the decision to detox bitterness, detox low self-esteem, detox negative words that may have been spoken over you, detox condemnation. Make the decision to dwell on what God says about you. God says, “You are forgiven.” God says, “Your best days are in front of you.” God says, “I’ll restore the years that the enemy has stolen.” As you detox your mind and fill your thoughts with His promises, you’ll see His hand of blessing on your life. You’ll rise up higher, and you’ll live the abundant life He has for you!

365 Days of Thankfulness
Day 301
Thank you God for always hearing me out. Help me to wait for you.
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
 and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD!
For with the LORD there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
 And he will redeem Israel
 from all his iniquities.
(Psalm 130:5-8 ESV)

Day 300
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
(1 Samuel 16:7 ESV)
God, I LOVE this about you. Can you help me to look on the heart? With myself as well as others. Thank you God for You give hope to this jaded heart.

Day 299
Thank you God for moving me forward to start practicing clinically! Forgive me for at times not having faith that you will help me to finish what you have called me to. And the consequences to my faithlessness are not so pleasing but ending the D2 year with a grateful and a glad heart by Your mercy.

Day 298
I can’t even begin to tell you just how much I love this part of the movie. I love it because it’s so in line with what God has been teaching me for the last 9 years I have known Him. Continual laying down of self and one’s desires and hopes in the light of God’s truth and love. It’s hard because our life is all we know and all we think we have but there is no greater peace than knowing in our hearts who God truly is. That He has made us for Himself and that He is our home. Thank you God for being such an amazing God.

set-apartgirl:

Even a beautiful God-scripted love story can never satisfy the way Jesus does. Even the most heroic and Christlike man on earth can never fulfill the longings of our heart like the true Prince and lover of our soul (Jesus Christ). And until we are able to truly make Him our first love, until we are willing to give up our dream of an earthly love story for His sake, we will never know the fullness of Him who fills us all in all. We will always be looking to a mere man to meet the desires of our heart, rather than to the One who created us, who knows us better than we know ourselves, and who gave His very life’s blood to rescue us.
